The Virginia State Moose Association Website is YOUR Website. We will publish information on your Upcoming and Past News events to allow ALL Moose Members in the Great State of Virginia to know what you are doing and perhaps come and participate (or steal your idea to use in their Lodge - A Win -Win for all)

Digital photo prints, sent as ATTACHMENT(s) to an email (not incorporated into a Word document) are preferred. But please EDIT what you take; and attach what you feel are the best two or three (maximum) representative shots to an email addressed to webmaster@virginiamoose.org. Photos must be taken in high resolution for use in print production. Submittals consisting of "emptying the photo card," attaching and sending every exposure taken, will be ignored and discarded. Please include clear caption information as to what is occurring in the image(s), including left-to-right identifications of persons and their titles in a small group (fewer than ten).   Feel Free in your submission to write your own story/article, we reserve the right to edit as needed prior to posting.

For a event, it is fine to send your locally produced flyer of the event, just make sure your Unit Information is included so that a viewer can locate you!

You may also make your own news release with photos in WORD or another program.  We can open and post most any format.

If actual color prints are placed in the mail to us, please DO NOT write on back of photos! (When stacked, the ink goes onto photo underneath & ruins it!) Please note if you want them returned to you.

In your submission email please include the following information, Your name, Your Lodge/Chapter/Moose Legion name and number, the name of the project or news, the date including the year, Where the event was or will be held, What did the project achieve? Awards, the more details you provide, the better the release will be.

REMEMBER THE MORE FACTS YOU PROVIDE THE BETTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE!
