Administrator  Training - Strasburg Lodge 403  Sept 28-29th

 

Administrator Training: Strasburg 403 will be hosting an administrators Training Class (Hands-On Technical Training) on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 and September 29 2019

This 2-day hands-on, instructor facilitated course begins with an overview of the Administrator's detailed task responsibilities and the supporting resources available to help Administrators complete those tasks. From there, students are provided an opportunity to practice daily Administrator tasks using a simulated QuickBooks company. Finally, students will perform interactive individual and group exercises to recognize how the Administrator's role can contribute to successful operations of the Social Quarters, and in turn, increase member retention.

Pre-registration is required. To register please email Cynthia Milliard at cmillard@moosetrainers.org and include in your email your name, Moose ID Number, Lodge Number, Lodge position and email address. You will receive an email serving as your certificate of attendance. Registration must be completed and received no later than September 1st. The $150 registration fee needs to be paid the first day of class. All checks should be made payable to the Virginia Moose Association.

Class will be limited to 8 and will be scheduled first come first serve.

The class runs from 8:30am to 4:00 pm each day. These will be full days of instruction and laptops will be provided. All material will be provided for this class

 



 
CHAPTER TRAINING SESSIONS
 

CHAPTER LEADERSHIP TRAINING SESSIONS

The 6 hour training sessions provide tools to assist the leaders of our fraternity in their daily operations.  Successful completion of this training helps our chapters qualify for the Award of Achievement.  These classes are opened any WOTM and LOOM member who would like to increase their understanding of the Women of the Moose.  Though all members are encouraged to attend the training, it is a requirement for certain co-workers to earn their individual honors (Senior Regent, Jr Graduate Regent to qualify for her College of Regents degree and Record to earn the Star Recorder degree).

Please RSVP to the contact for the class you wish to attend.  The registration will start 30 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.  Cost of the training is $10 per person and will be collected at the time of registration.  Lunch will be available by the hostess Chapter for $5.

WOTM 2- DAY HANDS-ON TECHNICAL Training at Leesburg 1041


Leesburg Lodge 1041 will be hosting a WOTM 2-day HOTT (Hands-On Technical Training) Class on Saturday September 21st and Sunday September 22nd


This 2-day hands-on technical training course teaches Fraternal Units how to work within the QuickBooks, LCL.net and Moos and e Admin programs. This instructor-led class consists of a combination of instructor lecture and demonstration. After learning the "how," "when," and "why" behind the necessary QuickBooks, LCL and Admin Menu functions, students will have an opportunity to practice what they have learned as they work through a training database.

You will receive an email serving as your certificate of attendance and receipt via email. This instructor-led class consists of a combination of instructor lecture and demonstration. After learning the "how," "when," and "why" behind the necessary QuickBooks, LCL and Admin Menu functions, students will have an opportunity to practice what they have learned as they work through a training database.

This 2-day hands-on technical training course teaches Fraternal Units how to work within the QuickBooks, LCL.net and Moose Admin programs. This instructor-led class consists of a combination of instructor lecture and demonstration. After learning the "how," "when," and "why" behind the necessary QuickBooks, LCL and Admin Menu functions, students will have an opportunity to practice what they have learned as they work through a training database.

Include in your email your name, Moose ID Number, Chapter, chapter position and email address. You will receive an email serving as your certificate of attendance and receipt via email. Registration must be completed and received no later than October 7, 2019.


The $40 registration fee needs to be paid the first day of class. All checks should be made payable to the Virginia Moose Association.


Class will be limited to 5 and will be scheduled first come first serve.

 

The class runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday, Sunday 8 am until we have completed LCL, should be earlier than Saturday. These will be one full day and one partial day of instruction, laptops will be provided. You may want to bring a mouse pad, those are not provided
